CANVAS RESTORATION PROCESS AND STAGES

1 - Color consolidation.

2 - Cleaning of the painted surface.

3 - Application of perimeter strips for tensioning.

4 - Mounting the canvas on the stretcher frame.

5 - Removal of the canvas from the stretcher frame.

6 - Filling in areas of paint loss.

7 - First coat of clear varnish applied by brush.

8 - Reintegration of areas of paint loss.

9 - Final application of a satin mist varnish.
