An important Gothic wooden sculpture of Saint Anne with the Virgin and Child, from the mid-14th century, originally from the Spanish Pyrenees (Catalonia-Aragon).

The image represents the maternal genealogy of Jesus, with Saint Anne seated on a throne, supporting the Virgin Mary, who in turn supports the Child Jesus. This iconography is typical of the 14th and 15th centuries. The polychrome flesh tones are original and well preserved, with some small gaps in the hands. The robes are polychrome and gilded, and some traces of scratching can be seen. On one side, almost towards the back, a candle burn can be seen, which has not contributed to any serious deterioration of the image and which we considered to be left as a sign of its past.
