Bronze jewelry box, originally used to hold chocolates from the Marquise de Sévigné brand, a high-quality French chocolate factory founded in 1898.

This early 20th-century box (1900-1910) features highly detailed bas-relief bronze scenes of the Marquise. The original lock and key open and close properly. The interior is padded and lined with canvas. In good condition.
