Rare solar diptych compass from the end of the 18th century (1779), wood with plaster and polychrome preparation. Inscription “Omni hora deum ora”, hours painted in black at the top and bottom, the hand moves correctly and positioning it in correspondence with the red line marks the hours. Some slight discolouration in the lower part but in a good state of conservation.

DIMENSIONS: closed 10.1 x 8.4 x 2.9 cm. - open 10.1 x 8.4 x 11.1 cm.
